Participants are encouraged to come prepared to build rubrics and add course content to utilize assessment tools in Taskstream for the following purpose:

UIdaho teacher education accreditation is dependent upon faculty being able to show accreditors evidence demonstrating how program faculty know every teacher candidate has met all state standards for knowledge, dispositions, and performance in specific programs.  Rubrics in TaskStream, tied to the state standards and associated with signature assignments, enable TaskStream Coordinators to aggregate and disaggregate evidence and quantifiable data for faculty reflection, analysis, and data-based decision-making regarding recommendations for programmatic change, course evaluation, and student continuation in a particular program.  This also meets the UIdaho Provost’s requirement for all faculty to engage in program assessment at all levels.
