The Nebraska Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture created a useful web resource to connect students with agriculture through offering books, posters, workshops, lessons, and links to other sites related to farming today. For all grade levels. 

North Carolina Biotechnology Center

North Carolina Biotechnology Center collects an inventory of web-based resources for science teachers. The online sources are mostly free and range from lesson plans to video and audio files. The content is filtered by topic and format (e.g. video, image gallery, case study, etc.) and is mostly for grades 6-12; however, some good resources are also available for the elementary level. For grades 6 to 12.

My American Farm

My American Farm is a web resource designed to educate students on agricultural awareness, where food comes from and how it gets to their plates. There are free games and educational resources such as lesson plans, videos, and activity sheets. The games are interactive with mini video lessons embedded in some. The content range is K-12 and can be filtered to narrow your search.  For all grade levels. 

Plickers

Picto4me for Google Drive allows you to create, edit, play and share communication boards straight on the Google Drive. It is the easiest online application for designing communication boards, and the integration with Google Drive is pretty slick: 

1) Create new boards directly from the "Create New" menu, 

2) Edit board just by clicking on them, 

3) Share boards as you share any other Google Drive document

4) Play the boards using switches, mouse, camera or keyboard

Google Tools for Transformational Change is a single day event that will bring together a group of experienced educators to share best practices on how Google Tools may be leveraged to effect transformational change in classrooms.

Registration is open to all current K-12 teachers in Idaho, and professional development credits are available (with PD scholarships available for University of Idaho alumni and students).
