Screencastify is a Chrome Extension that only works in the Chrome browser as a video recorder that can record all screen activity in your Chrome browser or on your desktop. All you need do is add the extension and click on the film icon in the top right of your menu bar to begin/end a recording.

JoeZoo

JoeZoo is an Add-on for Docs that is designed to save teachers time responding to and grading assignments in Google Docs. JoeZoo has three tools aimed to simplify the grading process: a feedback tool that uses 26 pre-made catgories to avoid a teacher repeat typing certain comments per student, a rubric builder that creates rubrics in 5 steps, and the ability to grade it. Best of all-- these features can be used without having to leave the page to go to another website or software.

Google Keep

Google Keep is a free Google app that can be used as a research tool or digital daily writing composition book, collecting notes, images, memos, voice recordings and more. Also, students can use this app as a digital organizer for school and/or home.

Google Add-ons

Google Add-ons are mini apps that can be added to certain Google Apps -Google Docs, Sheets, Forms, etc.- to enhance the functionality through adding new features that target specific needs. Add-ons are mostly free (there are occasional "freemiums" where features you may desire require a paid account) and can be found in the menu under Add-ons of all the Google Apps.
